Bra Review -- Comparison of True & Company, Spanx, and Ruby Ribbon
So as someone whose cup runneth over (quite literally) finding a good bra has always been a struggle. That being said, I have gotten a lot of bras over the years that are nice and have held up well by shopping with the usuals....Victoria's Secret and Soma. That being said, I have never had a comfortable bra. Of course, there are bras that are more comfortable than others, but none are fully comfortable. So I set out with the goal of being able to find the right bra for myself.

I chose the Ice Blue photo that is featured here. I normally wear a size 40 DDD or a 38 G. I chose the size 40 per the stylist's suggestion.
The material is very thick and does not have much stretch. It is overall a nice bra and is more comfortable than the traditional underwire that I was used to. That being said, it is not love. The band has a weird rubber material that is supposed to hold the bra in place. It rolls and makes wearing it somewhat annoying. I have found if I roll the bottom underneath that it is more comfortable. However, for the money...I would not likely purchase this one again. (I was going to try one of the tanks, but since I do not love the material...I decided against it.)
Here are my comparisons of some of the new bras that offer you both support and comfort.
Ruby Ribbon Original Demiette, $59

True and Company True Body Lift Scoop Neck Bra, $58
First off, this is the best bra that I have ever owned. I honestly do not think that I will ever purchase anything other than True and Company ever again. I cannot wait until my next order so that I can try their underwear.
This bra is supportive but incredibly stretchy and comfortable. I ordered the size 1X and it fit wonderfully and was very comfortable. I didn't feel like I had a bra on and kept having to check. LOL! That being said, it is not quite as supportive as the others. My girls were in the right place, but they were not lifted and overly perky like they were with an underwire bra. This bra left me with no discomfort whatsoever and I literally want to buy only this bra for the rest of my life. I have never felt a material like this one and I think that every woman should have one of these in their wardrobe. I can't wait to introduce my daughter to one the next time that she needs a bra.
Spanx Breast of Both Worlds Reversible Comfort Bra, $42
As a long time fan of Spanx, I had not owned one of their comfort bras before this purchase. I have leggings, underwear, shapewear and sports bras but had never tried a regular bra. I saw this one and thought that it might be a good alternative for the money. One of the best things about it is that you get to have two colors with one bra.
This bra is high quality and really supportive. It is not quite as comfortable as the True & Company bra, but is far more comfortable than the Ruby Ribbon. I would purchase it again because I like the reversible colors and that it would be great for traveling and needing to pack light with different colored clothing and such. Overall, a nice choice...just not my personal favorite.
